Installation

  1. Download the module: Visit https://www.drupal.org/project/castorcito and copy the Composer command provided to download the module along with its dependencies.

  2. Activate the module: In the Drupal administration panel, go to the “Extend” and activate the Castorcito module. We recommend installing the "Castorcito" module and the "Castorcito Advanced Pack" and "Castorcito Base Pack" together. These two packs will install several ready-to-use components for your project, such as an accordion, banner, slideshow, card, etc.

  3. Access Castorcito: After activation, the “Castorcito” link will appear in the administrative menu. Click on this link to view all the available components and their descriptions.

  4. Navigating the interface:
    When you access “Castorcito,” the main page will display the “Components” link.

In this section, you will find two tabs: “Components” and “Categories.”
Components: This tab is the default view. Here, you can see a list of all the existing components and their respective categories (Basepack or Advanced Pack). The detailed creation of components will be covered later.

 

Basepack components

 

Basepack: Here we can see that the Basepack section show the number 23 next to it. There is 16 components in the Basepack the number 23 is shown because some components that are not standalone components are acounted for. For example the Slideshow componet is compromised of two parts the Slide (the single item that has the image text and link) and the Slideshow the element that groups all the slides.

You can see in the column "In container" the elements that have a check are not standalone components, also in the column "Label" in general all these components have the word "item" in then. 

A brief description of each component can be found in the "Description" column.
