Bureau Veritas is a business-to-business-to-society (B2B2S) services company that provides testing, inspection, and certification solutions across a wide range of industries. To enhance its digital presence and streamline customer engagement, the company needed a modern e-commerce website that would be easy to manage, secure, and scalable. The website had to be capable of supporting a growing catalog of products and services over time.
An important functional requirement was the ability to handle different purchase workflows. While some products required a traditional checkout process, others needed to direct users to a contact form for personalized inquiries and quotations.
To meet these needs, we implemented Castorcito, a open source component-based system enabling the creation of custom, reusable interface elements and the integration of third-party libraries. This approach enabled us to achieve a consistent, visually appealing design while maintaining flexibility for future enhancements.
The result is a high-performing, scalable e-commerce platform that combines intuitive content management with robust design adaptability, empowering Bureau Veritas to efficiently showcase and manage its wide range of products and services.
